Today we went on a new adventure to Christie Pitts Park. It's about a 30 minute walk from Kathryn's. It is so nice and warm and sunny out it's just like being at home! We walked to whole way and Kathryn even brought water and treats for me to have. We sat under a tree kind of in the shade and kind of in the sun and stayed there for almost three whole hours! There were so many dogs to meet and there were even a few yappy little shits that wouldn't shut up. When I look at them compared to me I see my perfections even more than usual... Like hello your at a park not at home have some manners you mutts. It was a great day outside. Not quite as great as the cottage but it'll do. Boy was I ever tired when I got home! Well Kathryn and I just got back from the cottage late last night and let me tell you... I love that place. There are so many dogs and I can do whatever I want and I don't even have to wear a leash! It was fantastic. I made 5 new dog friends and met lots of new people. We took so many pictures so be prepared here they come. We started the adventure by going to the dollar store to get a bell. I think it's so that Kathryn knew where I was at all times but the dollar store is a pretty cool place and Kathryn seemed pretty pleased with herself that she got me in that bag to go into the store... Little did she know I was tired and was happy to be carried around for a while. Then we went in the car for what felt like forever! I was hoping I wasn't going to the vet but everything looked so new so I was pretty excited just to stick my head out and look around while we drove. This is the view from the cottage. Pretty great right? Look at all the places I could poop! We went to a cottage party on the first night and I met so many people. Everybody wanted to meet me... But really who can blame them I'm delightful next to the big, smelly, shedding dogs. At the end of the night I was pretty grumpy so Kathryn carried me home in a backpack which was great because I was tired and I should be carried I'm a friggen prince. I did a lot of exploring and running around. It was pretty great. These are the other dogs that were at the cottage with me. There were four of us in one house! So much dog love. The first dog is Link, that's Taylor's dog, the Missy and Sunny are the other two, they're Taylor's grandparents dogs. I did a little bit of napping here and there of course. I'm a great napper. I also showed everybody my dancing trick and let me tell you they loved that. It's the little things that get those simple humans laughing. On Monday morning we walked the whole island and made a bit stop at this lake in the middle of the island! It has beavers and stuff but it was a pretty cool place. Everybody kept trying to stop me from going for a swim... As if beavers could hurt me. Ha! Then we had to leave! Why can I not be there all summer? It was such a great place. And leaving was sad but they're boats. They are terrifying! The boat is so loud and shakey that by the time I was back at the car I never wanted to go on that boat again! Even if it means going to the cottage! I mean look how cute I am. I just had to post this picture. Bye bye cottage see you next time! Today I want to introduce you to my two new thingamajigs my harness and my toy. The harness is GREAT! I don't get choked when I go for walks and when Kathryn puts it on I know we're going for a reeaaalllyyy long walk or a car ride... Both are pretty great because I love walks and going in the car means I'm not staying home alone although I do enjoy my quiet nap times. My dog toy... Kathryn gets an A+ for this purchase! It's a toy that has a waterbottle in it and let me tell you I love playing with waterbottles and this toy makes it easy for me to chew on the bottle... Plus! When I chew on the bottle and it becomes useless Kathryn can change the bottle and it's like I get a whole new toy. I also tried something new the other day... I chewed on a bone instead of just hiding it. It was pretty delectable and I'm hoping I get more of those! The treats hear are pretty good... Right now I have duck treats and they're delightful. Ps I'm not happy cause it's raining again and I don't have nifty boots or a coat like Kathryn. I've been keeping up with my naps and Netflix addiction. This week my new Netflix love is Family Guy! There's a talking dog on there and he's almost as smart as I am. I had my first Toronto bath and let me tell you it's awful! Kathryn doesn't have one of those nice showers mommy Denise has so Kathryn was just pouring water on me... So stupid doesn't she know I'm just going to shake that off and make a disaster of a mess in her bathroom. Amateur. I have made the greatest discovery yet since coming to Toronto... Kathryn's bedroom actually had a window. It has a wonderful view of a brick wall. What is it with this city and the brick... And why are the houses so close together. She doesn't open the window much but when she does she'll know where to find me. And if I'm really feeling mysterious I'll probably pee on her clothes again. I had my first real walking experience in Toronto today! We went onto Bloor street it smells a lot like human pee... Since when can they just pee where they want? This is a dogs world... HELLO. We went all the way to Bathurst street and past Honest Eds... That is one tacky store. Kathryn also went into this place called dollarama while I waited outside with Taylor... He's pretty cool he comes over a lot when I'm home alone... It's love. Well I'm pretty tuckered out from that walk today. See my picture below. Well... It's the time of day to update you on my thrilling life! I've been doing a lot of sleeping, and walking... Oh my! The walking here is great I go on like four walks a day! Sometimes Taylor or Erin takes me but Kathryn is still my favorite. The heat is working in the house again! So now I'm nice and warm and don't have to be wrapped in 6000 blankets when I sleep. Today is sunny but it's been pretty rainy since I got here but once it gets not I'm sure I'll get to go to the dog park and meet some new friends. Tata for now (haha get it Glenn? Ta Ta? I crack myself up!) |
