"Rest easy Puppers; with the sound of the River, knowing you're always with us!"
This is me on my very first walk in Halifax! As soon as mummy and Glenn left I decided that I should direct all of my attention to Emily and bark at her at all times. To shut me up she took me for a lovely stroll along the Halifax Waterfront and boy did that tire me out, I didn't even bark at the door later that night because I was so pooped. On my second day we walked down to the Halifax Seaport Market where I was reunited with mummy and Glenn. After a nice breakfast I had to part ways with my true loves and I was sent away to live out my summer with my youngest sister Emily and boy was I confused. I searched every car on our walk home, hoping to catch a ride with Mummy but I had no luck. As soon as we got home I forgot all about them and had a nice snooze! The rest of my week was a very busy one! On day 3 I thought Emily was taking me on a nice long walk, but it was all a trap. She tricked me and took me to the vet..I was very well behaved because how else do you get compliments from every person at the vet? We walked away with a free bag of food thats good for my teeth and I was one happy camper to be out of there! Emily was also happy because there was a cat inside that I didn't even see, ha!
The rest of the week was full of long walks and even got to walk off my leash in point pleasant park! Because I love Emily soooo much, I decided not to run away on her...this time! She also took me to the beach but I had to stay on my leash...that didn't stop me from rolling in all the stinky seaweed I could find and laying on what Emily thought was her towel. I ended the day with a few too many drinks...haha just kidding I was pooped from all my walking! I wonder if thats why they call me poopy toopy? The next day it was off to the tennis court but I also got to run around in a big field! The rest of the weekend was rainy so what else could I do but stay in bed all day! Because I was so good all week I decided to get sick...couldn't be too easy on little Emily but I have survived week one in Halifax! After five amazing (no leash) weeks in Middle River, New Brunswick, I am off to hang out with my girl Emsy in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She lives in a "no pet" apartment, so I will have to be quiet. I would hate to get her into trouble ;)
I hope there are no cats on that street. After much anticipation, finally a new post. It's again that time of year when I am drugged and taken to Canada for the Summer. I usually have the backseat to myself on our road trips, but gladly gave it up to enjoy the company of Kathryn and Josie. Here I am trying my best to keep my friend Josie warm! Life is rough at the camp, but I"m adjusting ;)
Well, it's that time of year again when family starts to crawl out of their igloos and pay us a visit. I got lots of hugs and attention from this crowd of pale folk. I rewarded them with a day on the boat and impressing them with my swimming skills.
To all my family and friends having to endure a cold January.....thought I would warm your hearts with my Caribbean adventures this week. Wish you were all here with me!!!! What a Christmas I had!! It started off a bit naughty with a topless Toopy beach day. As you can see, I was pretty excited about that......after all, I am a boy! Santa still saw fit that I had been nice enough for a gift, however, the irony of the toy was not lost on me. Santa sure has a weird sense of humor. I would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and thought you would enjoy this wonderful video during the Festive Season. The humans aren't half bad! Also a BIG shout out to the Birthday Girl, Kathryn! Love ya like a fat kid loves cake!!! xoxoxo |
